Ramzová cableway - chairlift, which will take you to the top of Mount Šerák (1351 m above sea level), from where you can go further along the ridge or, for example, above the Giant Rocks viewpoint (see the page Cycling and hiking routes).

 

Summer bobsleigh track Petříkov - Do you like fast rides and want to enjoy a bit of adrenaline? Try the summer bobsleigh track in Petříkov. The bobsleighs are single-seater, suitable for adults and children from 8 years old (but you can take smaller children with you in the bobsleigh). Speed up to 45 km/h!

 

Mountain minicars and summer tubing Ramzová - Especially children will enjoy a good ride downhill on minicars or big inflatable rings (summer version of snowtubing)! You will find the tracks next to the Haltmar guesthouse in Ramzová.

 

Šerák - Climb up or take the cable car from Ramzová to the Šerák mountain, where you will also find Jiří's chalet with delicious food and drink in addition to the wonderful views.

 

Branná Castle and Chateau - High above the Branná River valley, the ruins of the 14th-century Kolštejn Castle tower on a rocky promontory. Part of the castle was rebuilt two centuries later into a Renaissance chateau, which was renovated in 2013 and now serves as a hotel and restaurant.

 

Lázně Lipová - A picturesque village on the border of the Hrubý Jeseník and Rychlebské hory mountains. Visit the therapeutic spa Dolní Lipová, or - if you are attracted to railways - take a tour of the Silesian Semmering mountain train line and the small railway museum at the station in Horní Lipová.

 

Na Pomezí Cave (Lipová) - The largest accessible cave system in the Czech Republic, which was formed by dissolving marble, i.e. crystalline limestone. The length of the route is less than 400 metres and you can walk it in 45 minutes. Beware, the temperature underground is only 7-8 degrees (perfect for cooling down in the sultry summer:)

 

Jeseník Spa - Priessnitz Spa, Birthplace and Museum of Vincenz Priessnitz - Two kilometres from the town of Jeseník you will find the Priessnitz Spa, which is ideal for the treatment of respiratory or circulatory problems thanks to its favourable climatic conditions. There is also the house and museum of the world-famous founder of the spa and hydrotherapy Vincenz Priessnitz.

 

Lookout tower Zlatý Chlum - Another pride of the beautiful town of Jeseník is the top of Zlatý Chlum (875 m above sea level) with a 26 m high stone lookout tower. From here you can see not only Hrubý Jeseník with its dominant features Praděd and Šerák, but also, in good weather, Kralický Sněžník and Rychlebské hory, and also Otmuchovské jezero in Poland.

 

Dlouhé stráně Pumped Storage Power Plant - In 2005, the Dlouhé stráně Pumped Storage Power Plant was voted the greatest wonder of the Czech Republic. The view of this dam is breathtaking. If you want to take a tour and learn more about the power plant, we recommend booking online three days in advance!

 

Holba Brewery Hanušovice - Take an excursion to the Holba Brewery in Hanušovice and visit the museum that traces the development of brewing in Hanušovice.

 

Králický Sněžník, National Nature Reserve - Climb Králický Sněžník (technically easy climb, approx. 20 km) or just wander around the nature reserve and discover its protected plants and animals. 

 

Loučná nad Desnou Chateau - A Renaissance chateau in the village of Loučná nad Desnou, built by the Žerotín family as a hunting lodge in the early 17th century. Details about Chateau Loučná nad Desnou.

 

Adrenalin Park Česká Ves - Entertainment centre for young and old. Try the rope centre, giant swing, off-road quad bikes, horse riding, paintball, canoe trips, bungee trampoline or archery.

 

Velké Losiny - A castle, thermal baths, a paper museum, outdoor swimming in summer - the village of Velké Losiny offers it all.

 

Karlova Studánka Spa - Cleaner air you could not ask for. Not for nothing is Karlova Studánka a popular spa, which is set in the beautiful mountain environment of the Jeseníky Mountains.

 

Lookout tower / TV tower Praděd - At the top of Praděd (1492 m), the highest mountain in the Jeseníky Mountains and the whole of Moravia, there is a TV transmitter. In its bowels we can also find a glass viewing platform at a height of 73 metres higher than the top of the mountain. The panoramas (including the Giant Mountains, the Beskydy Mountains and the Slovak Mala Fatra) are worth it!
